Andrea Priest provides investor relations and corporate communications counsel as well as crisis communications strategy to clients across a wide range of industries. Her particular expertise includes corporate positioning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and bankruptcy, litigation support, and corporate governance. Over the past two decades, Ms. Priest has been involved in numerous high-profile situations such as hostile and friendly changes of control, proxy contests, shareholder litigation, and product recalls.
Since joining Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher earlier this year, Ms. Priest has worked on several friendly transactions including Hologic's merger with Cytyc, Qiagen's acquisition of Digene, and ev3's acquisition of Fox Hollow.
Her experience is varied and spans several industries including consumer food, energy, financial services, pharmaceutical, and technology. Over the course of her career, Ms. Priest has shaped the investor and corporate communications strategy of companies such as Tyson Foods, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Ernst & Young, Texas Instruments, Dominion Resources, and Nortel Networks.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Priest was a Managing Director at The Global Consulting Group where she worked with numerous clients, both domestic and international, on their investor relations and corporate communications strategies.
Ms. Priest began her career on Wall Street in the sales and trading areas of Lehman Brothers and later worked at Lipper Analytical as a financial analyst. After leaving Lipper, she became a staff reporter for 'The Bond Buyer' covering corporate and municipal debt instruments, as well as mortgage-backed securities.
Ms. Priest graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in English and has done post-graduate work at Pace University Graduate School of Business. |
