Andrea Cataneo joined Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP in 2004. Ms. Cataneo represents private and public companies with an emphasis in structuring business combinations and assisting growing companies in capital raising efforts through private and public offerings and secured and unsecured private equity financing transactions (PIPEs). In addition, Ms. Cataneo acts as securities counsel to public companies handling all 1934 Act reporting requirements and legal opinions. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cataneo maintained a private practice concentrating in the areas of Securities Law, Corporate Finance, General Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Entertainment Law, which she formed in 1999. Previously, Ms. Cataneo served as General Counsel to Power Station Entertainment, Inc., an A&R company affiliated with Power Station recording studios based in New York City, and currently serves as corporate secretary and treasurer to Time of Your Life, Inc. She received her Juris Doctor degree in 1996 from Rutgers University School of Law in New Jersey, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, and legal intern to the Honorable William G. Bassler in the Federal District Court of New Jersey in Newark. She received a B.A. in Political Science in 1992, summa cum laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, and was named the Mennen Scholar for academic excellence and leadership performance. She was admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, and the United States District Courts of New Jersey in 1997. |
