Description of Practice:
Andrea Clay is a partner in the firm's San Francisco office, where she is a member of the Real Estate Finance Group. Ms. Clay handles a wide array of real estate financings, including acquisition financing, construction financing, refinancing, and loan assumption transactions. Her clients primarily include financial institutions and conduit lenders involved in secondary market transactions. Ms. Clay's practice includes hotel/resort related transactions, health care facility related transactions, general commercial related transactions, and residential development transactions. She also has a background in insolvencies and bankruptcies.
Ms. Clay served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Thomas B. Donovan of the Bankruptcy Court, Central District, California. She is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California.
Publications/Presentations:
Ms. Clay is a faculty member on the subject of mortgage lending for the Practicing Law Institute's annual Commercial Real Estate Institute.
Honors and Awards:
Ms. Clay has been recognized as a Northern California "Super Lawyer" in 2007 and in 2006 was named on the Daily Journal's list of California's top twenty lawyers under the age of 40.
Educational History:
Ms. Clay received her B.A. degree in Economics in 1988 from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her J.D. degree and a Master's degree in Business Administration (with an emphasis in finance) in 1993 from the University of Southern California. |
