Andrea J. Steinkamp is a Manager in the Dispute Advisory & Forensic Services Group. She is also the founder and current chair of the firm s Pro Bono practice. Ms. Steinkamp has extensive experience providing a broad range of business and financial advice to trial lawyers and in-house counsel throughout the dispute process, including matters involving breach of contract, tortious interference, disputes related to business transactions, bankruptcy, shareholder disputes and construction claims. She has also provided restructuring and profit enhancement consulting to clients with annual revenues ranging from $2 million to over $1 billion dollars. Ms. Steinkamp s experience encompasses a wide array of industries, including automotive suppliers, OEMs, manufacturing companies, transportation and logistics businesses, land development, construction contractors, food service and distribution entities and computer training and consulting organizations. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Steinkamp was minority-owner and Director of Finance and Operations for GD Builder, Inc. In that capacity, she was responsible for managing relationships with financing sources, insurance and bonding agencies, and various local municipalities. She was also responsible for all aspects of project development for residential communities, including: identification of land acquisition targets and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements; vendor identification and selection, including management of ongoing relationships; development and enforcement of project schedules and oversight of project management team; and development and implementation of the company s sales and marketing strategy, including sales team management. Ms. Steinkamp graduated Magna Cum Laude from Miami University with a BS in Accounting and Finance. She is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, the Original Equipment Suppliers Association, the Detroit Economic Club, and the Detroit Institute of Arts. Ms. Steinkamp is also an active member of Inforum, a professional women s alliance, where she is a member of the group s finance committee and a graduate of Flight 9 of the Inforum Center for Leadership Executive Leadership development program.
