Andrea Fischer Newman was appointed to Senior Vice President - Government Affairs in February 2001. She has responsibility for the Company's international federal state and local government affairs. Prior to this appointment Ms. Newman was Vice President State and Local Affairs.
Prior to joining Northwest Airlines she was a senior partner at the Detroit law firm of Miller Canfield Paddock and Stone and before that was with the Department of Defense as Special Counsel to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Logistics the White House as Deputy Assistant to then Vice President George Bush and the Washington D.C. law firm of Patton Boggs. |
