Labor and Employment
Andrea Bernica has experience defending large and small employers in both state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies against allegations of sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and discrimination claims including age, race, disability and sex discrimination. Andrea also has experience representing employers in a variety of matters under other federal and state statutes affecting employers, including collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Ms. Bernica has experience representing general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, suppliers, architects, engineers and owners in a wide variety of construction litigation matters including breach of contract, claims for extra work, delay, acceleration and inefficiency, design errors, defects, mechanic's liens, payment and performance bond claims and insurance claims.
