Andre Doumitt is the President and COO of Geosemble Technologies, where he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business planning, personnel, and commercial and government business programs. Mr. Doumitt brings a background in the commercial and defense industries where he has held positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, Doumitt spent five years with UK Defense giant BAE Systems in a variety of executive management roles focused on growing market share of fly-by-wire flight control systems, integrated GPS/Navigation sensor systems and digital map systems primarily focused on US and International military aircraft operators. Before that, Doumitt spent two years with the Italian/US Joint Venture Bell Agusta Aerospace, in which he was responsible for introduction a new class of civil tiltrotor aircraft into the commercial marketplace, and four years with The Boeing Co developing industrial relationships with international suppliers for Boeing’s helicopter programs. A Prior position included three years as a principal of technology start-up company Ecotech International, where as Director of Business Development, he created new joint ventures and licensing agreements for his US-based commercial customers. As a technology start up, Ecotech was part of the Arizona Technology Incubator and graduated in 1995. Over time, the company grew in size and business and eventually had offices in the US, Europe and Russia. In 1997, the company was absorbed into the Boeing Company. Prior to working for Boeing, Mr. Doumitt held several international positions, including a Market Research Consulting position for an Australian research firm based in Hong Kong, a Japanese prefectural government position in Tokyo, and at the US Embassy in Paris, where he served with the Consular support staff, the US Department of Commerce and the Coordinating Committee for Multilateral Strategic Trade Control. Mr. Doumitt has spent over 15 years overseas in France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan and Bolivia, with extensive business travel in Asia and the Middle East. He speaks fluent French, and is conversant in Spanish, German and Japanese. Mr. Doumitt holds dual BA degrees from the University of California and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). |
