Andre is a partner in the business law department and currently serves as a member of the firm's Diversity Committee. He has represented clients in a variety of transactions, including private equity investments, the purchase and sale of private companies and mezzanine finance transactions. The industries involved in these transactions vary and include banks, manufacturers, media companies and telecommunications companies. Andre also counsels clients on a variety of general corporate law matters.
From 2005 to early 2006, Andre served as in-house counsel to one of the nation's largest independent power producers where his areas of responsibility included corporate and project finance transactions, divestitures of project companies, the review and negotiation of commercial contracts and ensuring compliance with project documents.

Represented mezzanine debt and equity investors in connection with the recapitalization of a publishing company with a focus on specialty magazines.
Represented an insurance company and its shareholders in connection with the sale of the company to a strategic buyer.
Represented a company owning a number of cellular towers throughout the Southeast and its shareholders in connection with the sale of the company to a strategic buyer.
Counsel to one of the nation's largest independent power producers in connection with the review and negotiation of commercial contracts and the company's general compliance matters.
Counsel to one of the largest providers of alarm services in North Carolina in connection with the negotiation and review of commercial contracts, financing transactions and general corporate matters.
