Dr. Lamotte has served as a director since our inception. Dr. Lamotte founded or co-founded 15 pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies 9 of which are public. He has been a private entrepreneur since 1997. He is also a Venture partner with HBM BioVentures Ltd. (Zurich Switzerland) a biotechnology investment fund following the merger in March 2003 of New Medical Technologies which he had founded. He founded in 1988 with Harvard Medical School Medical Science Partners an early stage venture capital fund. Prior to 1988 Dr. Lamotte was General Manager of Pasteur Merieux Inc. and had marketing and business development positions with Sandoz. Dr. Lamotte received his Sc.D. in chemical engineering and chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. |
