Dr. Kantak is the director of Akron Neonatology Inc., which employs nine neonatologists who care for sick and premature infants from 17 counties in northeast Ohio, and associate professor of pediatrics for Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.
Dr. Kantak received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Poona, India, and completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatology at Worcester City Hospital in Massachusetts. He also completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and in neonatology at Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
In addition, he is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine, and holds certification in the sub-board of neonatal/perinatal medicine. He has lived in Akron since 1981. |
