Born on 01/23/1962 she majored in Economics from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco in 1983 obtained a Master´s Degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro PUC/RJ in 1986 and a doctoral degree in Economics from University of California in 1990. She is a CFA Chartered Financial Analyst from the Association for Investment and Management Research - AIMR. She is currently attending the 5th year of Law School at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro PUC/RJ. She was an independent member of the Board of Directors of Grendene S/A from 2005 to 2006 and a Macroeconomics professor at the Economics Department of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro PUC/RJ in the 1st semester of 2003 Investment Director at Pictet Modal Asset Management S/A from 1998 to 2003 Investment Analyst at Banco de Investimentos Garantia from 1995 to 1998 Economist at the World Bank in Washington DC. from 1991 to 1995 Macroeconomics professor for the Economics post-graduation studies department of Universidade Federal de Pernambuco in 1991 and consultant at Swiss Development Corporation a body of Switzerland´s Foreign Affairs Ministry in 1991. She is currently an independent member of the Board of Directors of Companhia de Concessões Rodoviárias S/A CCR (since 2002) and Datasul S/A (since 2006) and a consultant of the Fiscal Council of Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (since 2005). On 04/10/2007 she was elected independent member of the Company´s Board of Directors. |
