As Vice President of Technology, Ms. Powers defines and executes the technology vision for the enterprise in alignment with strategic business objectives. As part of the Executive Management team Ms. Powers has a key role in developing technology partnerships and relationships.
Previously serving as Development Manager for uBid's seller applications, Ms. Powers significantly enhanced the revenue line for the company’s Certified Merchant program and implemented innovative technological solutions to reduce costs.
Prior to joining uBid in 2003, Ms. Powers worked as a consultant in the retail sector focusing on web-based applications, data warehousing and business intelligence. She holds an Applied Information Technology Diploma from Information Technology Institute, Halifax, Nova Scotia and a BS from Dalhousie University. |
