Amy Friedman is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa's Los Angeles office, where her primary focus is associate placement and career development. Prior to joining MLA, Amy worked as the Legal Recruiting Coordinator in the Los Angeles office of Bingham McCutchen. She was responsible for on-campus recruiting and lateral attorney hiring, as well as coordinating the summer associate program. Amy began her legal career practicing at a boutique civil litigation firm specializing in employment and business litigation.
Amy received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was a member and associate editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. She received her B.S. with high honors from the University of Texas, Austin.
Amy was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she continues to live with her husband, Adam. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and cheering on Texas football.
