Amy Farnstrom is currently in Business and Product Development, Derivatives, for NYSE Arca where she has used her options trading experience and industry knowledge to help design the new NYSE Arca trading system, as well as working with the development team to bring new features and functionalities to market. She is past Director of Client Services for the Pacific Exchange, Inc.
Amy has over 15 years experience in the options industry. She traded options on the Pacific Exchange as a Market Maker for a total of eight years, including four years as a Lead Market Maker for Oppenheimer, Noonan, Weiss LLC and SLK Hull Derivatives. She attended Hastings College in Hastings, NE, as a National Merit Scholar and graduated with a degree in English, Theater Arts, Philosophy and Art History. In addition to her responsibilities at NYSE Arca, Amy recently joined the instructor staff of The Options Industry Council. |
