Ms. Benson is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Denver office and a member of the Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in telecommunications, consumer class actions, commercial contract disputes, software licensing and product liability. Ms. Benson tried cases in state and federal court and before arbitral forums, and has successfully argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Colorado Court of Appeals. She is admitted to practice in the Tenth Circuit and the Court of Claims as well as a number of U.S. District Courts. Ms. Benson has also handled cases and arbitrations pending in Colorado, California, New York, Texas, Utah, Wyoming and a number of other states. Ms. Benson came to the firm from Qwest Communications, where she handled telecommunications litigation as in house counsel. Before joining Qwest, Ms. Benson was a partner in a boutique litigation firm, which represented major corporations in complex commercial litigation throughout Colorado and other states. |
