Amy J. Carletti is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. She is a member of the Trial Department.
Prior to joining McDermott, Amy worked as a law clerk for the America Bar Association's Child Custody Pro Bono Project.
While in law school, Amy was an associate editor for the Children's Legal Rights Journal. She also co-authored the article "Representing Children in Custody Cases: Where We are Now and Where We Should Go," Children's Law Manual, 2003 and Children's Legal Rights Journal, Summer 2003. Amy also presented this article at the Bar Association's Annual Meeting on August 9, 2002. She also published "Battered Women on Trial" with Sarah J. Gabis and Timothy J. Eirich in the Children's Legal Rights Journal, Winter 2003-04.
Amy is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
