Amy Hobbs Schilder is an Assistant Vice President in the State Government Relations Department of McGuireWoods Consulting. She possesses extensive knowledge of North Carolina state government, and specializes in hospitality and tourism, education, economic development, tax policy and regulatory issues. Amy also has experience with the development and organization of grassroots and grasstops campaigns.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, she was a partner in her own lobbying outfit, Hobbs and Company. Amy has represented clients such as the Hospitality Alliance of North Carolina, the North Carolina Hotel & Lodging Association, North Carolina Build Schools, the North Carolina Travel and Tourism Coalition and Save Our Summers.
Amy graduated from Meredith College with a B.A. degree in Political Studies and Public History.
