Amos Arev has over 15 years of software development management experience and has spent over half of his career specializing in IT security. In his current position, Mr. Arev is responsible for research, development, professional services and QA. Prior to joining Skybox Security in 2005, Mr. Arev held several R&D management positions at Check Point Software Technologies - a leading vendor of security solutions. During his years at Check Point, Mr. Arev led the development of the partner developer's kit and other key infrastructure software. Before Check Point, Mr. Arev worked for Comverse Technologies, where he led the development of the initial unified messaging solution. During his army service as an officer in the Israeli Air Force, Mr. Arev led high profile development projects combining software and hardware involving intelligence and simulation technologies. Mr. Arev holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, both cum laude.
