Amit Shashank is the General Counsel of EXL. Prior to joining EXL in June 2004, Amit was an associate at the law firm of Shearman & Sterling since January 1997 and worked on a number of international corporate transactions including debt and equity securities offerings and project financings. Amit is a member of the New York Bar and the New York State Bar Association. After graduating from Delhi University (Shri Ram College of Commerce) with a B.A. (Hons) Economics degree, Amit attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and graduated with an M.A. degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and subsequently attended The University of Michigan Law School, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of International Law, and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree. |
