Amit Patel is Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategic Planning. Amit’s responsibilities include chairing Dr. Reddy’s Global Business Development Council, pursuing alliances and M&A, and driving global strategic initiatives to accelerate growth in various businesses and regions. He is also responsible for select long-term strategic business planning efforts and for coordination of external relations activities in North America.
Prior to joining Dr. Reddy’s in 2003, Amit was co-founder and CEO of a healthcare services startup called MedOnTime that was later acquired by CTIS, at which he served as Vice President of Corporate Development. Earlier, Amit was a strategy consultant with Marakon Associates where he focused on value-based management and M&A.
Amit received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems Engineering from the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
