Amir Aghdaei is Senior Vice President of Field Operations and Marketing, where he is chartered with management of the company’s worldwide field operations and marketing organizations. Aghdaei brings more than two decades of extensive international experience in the semiconductor and electronics instrument measurement industries, where he has held P&L responsibility and set strategic direction for global organizations. Prior to joining Credence in August 2007, Aghdaei served for six years as Vice President and General Manager of the Measurement Systems Division, Electronics Group at Agilent Technologies where he managed sales, marketing, R&D, and business development teams, and lead the division to double-digit profitability.
A long-term Agilent and Hewlett Packard employee, Aghdaei has held senior management positions at both companies including Worldwide eBusiness Manager, Electronics Products and Solutions Group where he developed and implemented strategies for outsourcing Internet technology, services development and maintenance. Aghdaei began his career at IBM. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Delaware, an M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Georgia State University, and a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Science and Technology University of Iran.
