Dr Abu Alfa is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine. Dr Abu Alfa completed his fellowship training in gastrointestinal and liver pathology at the Yale University School of Medicine and completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr Abu Alfa has authored several research articles on gastrointestinal and endocrine pathology and on clinical chemistry. He is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, and the American Society for Clinical Pathology. |
