K. Amar Murugan is a partner in the Silicon Valley office. Amar is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Department where his practice primarily focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate counseling.
Prior to joining McDermott, Amar was at an international law firm, where he was a member of the firm’s Venture Law Group practice and represented both publicly and privately held companies in numerous merger and acquisition transactions of various structures, public offerings and private financings. Amar also handles ongoing corporate and securities compliance issues for his clients.
He is admitted to practice in California.
