Amanda B. Gift, Managing Principal and Vice President, joined Signature Financial Management in 2002. She currently advises and manages client relationships with families and individuals, delivering customized and comprehensive wealth management solutions. Additionally, Amanda provides oversight to the firm's back office trading operations and human resource efforts. Prior to joining Signature, Amanda was a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors in Virginia Beach. While at American Express, she was recognized as one of the top 100 new advisors. She received a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from James Madison University, and is a graduate of the Leadership Hampton Roads class of 2005. Her volunteer activities include current board member of The Virginia Stage Company and Child and Family Services of Eastern Virginia. She has served for three years as a division chair for The United Way's annual campaign; for the past six years, she has served on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association of Hampton Roads, most recently as President and Chairman. Amanda and her husband volunteer for the Virginia Beach SPCA in their free time.
