Amanda Frayer works remotely for Consumers Union’s Southwest Office as a Web Designer. She creates banner ads, slideshow images, blog ads and other graphics for the website. She built Consumer Scribbler, a blog for Consumers Union activists, and the Spanish language site PoderdelConsumidor.org, among other micro-sites. When not working, she is a graduate student in the illustration program at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She currently lives in Savannah, Georgia and exhibits her artwork frequently at Red Kite Studio, the only student-run and student-operated gallery in town. The studio was opened March 2006 by a group of 13 illustrators including herself.
