An associate in the firm's Las Vegas office, Ms. Yen works primarily in the areas of civil litigation and employment law.
Yen earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Boyd School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude in the top 10 percent of her class. Yen also appeared on the Dean’s list and received a Dean’s Award for Outstanding Achievement. Yen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with a minor in International Studies from Pepperdine University where she graduated cum laude.
While at Boyd School of Law, Yen worked at the Juvenile Justice Clinic and was a Student Notes Editor on the Nevada Law Journal. Yen also tutored students in all subjects as part of the Center for Academic Success and Enrichment (CASE) program.
Before joining McDonald Carano Wilson, Yen was a judicial law clerk for the United States District Court where she wrote briefs and prepared orders on all types of civil and criminal matters, and prepared bench memoranda for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. |
