Alyson J. Nakamura joined Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. in 1994 as assistant secretary of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. and corporate secretary of A&B-Hawaii, Inc., which then was A&B's property management and development, and food products subsidiary. In 1999 she was promoted to corporate secretary and counsel, and in 2003 she was promoted to corporate secretary and assistant general counsel.
Before coming to A&B, Nakamura was an associate with the law firm of Cades Schutte Fleming & Wright. Nakamura has been involved in director and officership roles with the Coalition for a Drug Free Hawaii, the A&B Sugar Museum and the Hawaii Society of Corporate Secretaries.
She holds a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Hawaii and a law degree from the University of California at Davis. |
