Alysia R. Green Project Coordinator As project coordinator, Green is responsible for administering Automation Alley programming, serving as the staff liaison to the Workforce Development Committee, overseeing education-focused initiatives, managing technologybased clients, assisting with grant activities, and coordinating Automation Alley’s vendor selection process. She sits on the Advisory Board of the RARE Foundation, Planning Committee for the Oakland Schools Regional Advisory Committee’s county-wide Annual Meeting and the Steering Committee for the Global Trade Mission. Green holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts with a minor in political science from Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan. She was very active as a student, having been selected as the student representative on the Search Committee for the vice president of academic affairs and provost as well as being honored and receiving the first NBD/Chicago ‘Keeper of the Dream’ Award for demonstrating strong citizenship and leadership in inter-racial issues on campus. Green also served as a community relations intern for DaimlerChrysler World Headquarters. After living in Kalamazoo for six years, Green has returned home to the metropolitan Detroit area, where she resides with her husband, Victor, and son, Matthew. Her hobbies include watching NFL football and hopes to one day purchase her favorite automobile, a 1968 Chevy Camaro Super Sport. Green is the youngest of eight siblings. |
