Alyce Moore joined Kronos in 1990, and became general counsel in 1999. Her previous business experience as a software distribution manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, coupled with her law degree, gave her the ability and foresight to lay the foundation of the legal group at Kronos, and to subsequently grow it to become a critical and strategic division within the company.
In her current role as vice president and general counsel at Kronos, Moore continues to be driven by her commitment to provide ongoing proactive counsel by aligning her group's goals with the broader organizational objectives. Motivated by this philosophy, her team members remain ingrained in all relevant corporate functions, and they seek to understand the challenges and requirements of others through open forms of communication. This enables them to expedite processes, and take preventative measures saving the company time and resources. As Kronos has grown over the years to become a large, multinational software company, Moore has ensured that her department reflects that corporate culture through its strategy and execution.
Moore started her career at Digital Equipment Corp., and after 16 years of working in the software industry she went on to graduate from law school, and subsequently joined Kronos. In addition to her bachelor's degree in business administration from Clark University, Moore holds a Juris Doctor from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
In her spare time, Moore volunteers with the Massachusetts Department of Social Services as a foster care case reviewer, and helps with the fundraising efforts for the upkeep and preservation of the Nubble Lighthouse at York, Maine. |
