Alvin Tan worked at American Capital from June 2004 to June 2006 as an Associate in the Operations Team and rejoined American Capital in May 2007. As a member of the Operations Team, Mr. Tan’s responsibilities include financial and operational analysis in support of the restructuring and exit strategies of portfolio companies.
Prior to his first stint at American Capital, Mr. Tan was a Senior Associate with Arthur Andersen’s corporate restructuring group and an Associate with KPMG’s assurance practice. Prior to re-joining American Capital, Mr. Tan worked in the leveraged finance group of RBS.
Mr. Tan is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a BA in from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. |
