Ms. Behm is a litigation associate with the firm. She concentrates her practice in various areas of insurance defense litigation, including premises liability, automobile accident liability, medical malpractice, subrogation, and general tort litigation.
Experience
Ms. Behm has successfully tried several cases on behalf of her clients. In addition, she has authored and argued numerous dispositive motions in the areas of premises liability, automobile accident liability, and medical malpractice. Her success with motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment has allowed several of her clients to avoid the expense and strain of extensive litigation and trial. Ms. Behm has also negotiated numerous favorable settlements on behalf of her clients. She also serves as an arbitrator for the Will County Mandatory Arbitration Program.
During law school, Ms. Behm was an active member of The American Journal of Law & Medicine, and published her Note, The Americans with (or without) Disabilities Act: Pre-employment Medical Inquiries and the Non-disabled in the Winter 2000 volume. She also served as a teaching assistant for first-year law students.
