Allison McCall joined ProObject in 2002 and leads ProObject’s Strategy, Assessment and Transformation (SAT) Practice. Allison brings over 25 years of professional experience in information systems management for government agencies and for the private sector. Allison is an innovative professional with extensive experience in software development, networking, information assurance, desktop support, enterprise architectures, budget and cost-estimation, and management. She is a highly adaptable problem solver who can rapidly evaluate new situations, organize team efforts for action, and create long-term strategies. Allison believes that ProObject provides her with the ideal environment for both best utilizing her skills and empowering her to take on new challenges. With extensive experience in all areas of information technology, Allison strives to apply her extensive real world experience in software development, networks, information assurance and desktop support to the Transformation and Strategy Practice, supporting high level Information Technology (IT) planning and policy functions. In this Practice, Allison provides her customers with strategic planning methodologies for IT offering solutions that will allow managers to assess the status and functionality of their current IT projects, identify gaps, and plan for needed improvements. Allison has held senior management positions in both Private Industry and the Federal Government. At the Department of Justice, she was the Chief of the IT Support Branch; and at the Office of Justice Programs, she was the Deputy Director of Information Resources Management. In private industry, she has held the position of Vice President. One of Allison’s current areas of interest is the transition to Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6). She has been involved in this area for a number of years, including as an advisor to the Department of Defense in the forefront of their complex upgrade to IPv6. In her spare time, Ms. McCall spends time with her husband, two children, and her extended family including her elderly mother-in-law. She has served on the Board of Directors for various educational and community organizations. Allison earned a B.S in Business Administration from The American University and has continued her education taking numerous technical and management courses. |
