Allison Edgar concentrates her practice on environmental litigation, regulatory compliance matters and business transactions involving environmental issues.
Ms. Edgar's practice includes the following matters:
Defense and prosecution of environmental matters in federal and state court, including groundwater contamination claims, toxic tort actions and class actions
Representation of potentially responsible parties in Superfund matters
Defense of civil penalties and other enforcement actions at both the state and federal level
Brownfields property acquisitions and site development
Environmental permitting issues, including those related to wetlands, stormwater and wastewater discharges and hazardous waste
General environmental compliance requirements
Investigation and remediation of contamination under federal and state programs
Environmental issues in business transactions, including due diligence reviews, liability and indemnity issues, environmental site assessments and remediation agreements
Ms. Edgar joined Parker Poe as an associate in 2005 after practicing environmental law at a large firm in Washington, DC.
