Allen R. Glassburn is director--business operations support for Indiana Michigan Power, which serves 575,000 customers in Indiana and Michigan. He is responsible for financial planning in both states, and coordinates the efforts of other AEP organizations that impact operating company results.
Before joining Indiana Michigan Power, Glassburn directed the financial performance of AEP Energy Delivery, and monitored non-financial performance criteria, including reliability, commission complaints and incentive plans. Additional responsibilities included the development and implementation related to Energy Delivery business planning.
From 1993 to 1996 he was president & COO of Kingsport Power in Kingsport, TN. Prior to that, he served as region manager for the Muncie District of Indiana Michigan Power and served as a director for Indiana Michigan Power Company. Additional responsibilities included major assignments in the Transmission and Distribution organizations. Glassburn also worked at the Cook Nuclear plant where he was responsible for checkout of the plant electric systems during construction. |
