Allan Leinwand is an Operating Partner in the San Francisco office of JPMorgan Partners. Mr. Leinwand is a recognized expert in the fields of internetworking design and implementation. Prior to joining JPMP in 2004, he was President and Co-Founder of Proficient Networks. Before this role, Mr. Leinwand had served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice-President of Engineering for Telegis Networks and Digital Island. Earlier, he served as Manager of Consulting Engineering at Cisco Systems. Mr. Leinwand is the co-author of the books Cisco Router Configuration and Network Management: A Practical Perspective and instructs at the University of California-Berkeley as Adjunct Professor on the topics of computer networks, network management and network design. Mr. Leinwand holds a BSc degree in computer science from the University of Colorado. Mr. Leinwand currently serves on the board of directors of Affinity Internet, GreenField Networks and RouteLogics. |
