As the partner in charge of the Enterprise Systems Group at KIS, Allan's professional practice centers around network cleanup, migrations, upgrades, moves, rearchitecture, interoperability, and disaster recovery planning. Allan was responsible for creating and implementing the internal support and quality assurance programs that have won KIS multiple Novell Service Excellence Awards. Prior to KIS, Allan owned and ran Spectrum SupportNet, Inc., a Novell Platinum partner which merged with KIS in April of 2002 to form the largest Novell Platinum partner in Northern California. Allan has 25+ years of computer industry experience, and is a Master CNE. A long-time Novell Users International booster, Allan is the founder and 8-year past president of Silicon Valley NUI, and in 2002 founded and remains President of the Novell Oakland Bay Area Users Group (NOBUG). In 2005, Allan was named to the Board of Directors of NUI. |
