Allan W. White Senior Marketing Consultant and Shareholder
Allan White joined us in 1999 as Vice President, Marketing. Allan is an international marketing consultant that brings over 20 years of experience in senior product marketing, sales and business development in computer and advanced voice, video & data communications markets. He is a certified Web Marketing Analytics expert by the industry leader. Prior to joining @Comm, Allan was Vice President, Worldwide Marketing for Polycom, responsible for video conferencing and Web collaboration products and services. He also served as Director Worldwide OEM and PC-based Voice Server products at Avaya and Lucent Technologies' (Octel) Messaging Division. Prior to Lucent, Allan held senior marketing positions at Apple Computer, leading its Communications and Collaboration strategy and products worldwide, General Manager of Apple's Latin America division, spanning a 43-country region. He has also held senior product marketing positions at Alcatel, ITT, operating positions at Xerox, and helped establish adoption of a wide range of computer-telephony and data collaboration standards such as TSAPI, Vcard, VCalendar and others now in use, worldwide. Allan is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and holds a BSEE and MBA degree from Universidad Nacional de El Salvador. He has completed executive marketing and financial management programs at Stanford and Syracuse. On a personal level, he remains active providing guidance for modernization of high technology education in Latin America. |
