Allan D. Keel President and CEO has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Crimson as part of its recapitalization in 2005, he served as Vice President/General Manager of Westport Resources’ Houston office, from 1996 - 2000 and from 2004 until its ultimate sale to Kerr McGee. After his first term with Westport, Mr. Keel served a brief time as Vice President of Enron Energy Finance before becoming President and Chief Operating Officer of Mariner Energy Company. Prior to returning to Westport, Mr. Keel served as interim President to Woodside Energy Inc. (USA), an affiliate of Woodside Petroleum Ltd. He began his career at Energen Resources where he directed the company's exploration, joint venture and acquisition activities. He received BS and MS degrees in geology from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. |
