An original member of the Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. executive team since its inception in 1992. Allan B. Solomon presently serves as executive vice president general counsel and secretary playing an instrumental role in legal affairs legislative matters new jurisdiction expansion and investor relations. His knowledge and experience was integral in bringing the gaming industry to Florida.
Prior to joining Isle of Capri Casinos Allan Solomon was a partner in Broad and Cassel a multi-office Florida-based law firm. He also served as executive vice president of a New York Stock Exchange company senior advisor to the Treasury Transition Team of the Reagan administration and senior partner in charge of the corporate and tax departments for a 90-person multi-state law firm.
Allan Solomon received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Boston College. He was awarded a master of law in taxation from New York University. He is a member of the Florida Kentucky and Massachusetts Bar Associations and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Claims U.S. Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.
In addition to his responsibilities with the Isle of Capri Allan Solomon has served as president of the Florida Association of Jewish Federations president of the South Palm Beach County Jewish Federation and as a vice president of the Council of Jewish Federations.
