Mr. Ali Reza is a Corporate Vice President a Principal Engineer in Exponent's Thermal Sciences practice and Director of Exponent's Southern California offices in Los Angeles and Orange County. He specializes in the engineering analysis of fires explosions and detonations. Much of Mr. Reza’s research is focused on studying the cause origin and propagation of fires and explosions particularly in relation to chemical reactions heat transfer gas dynamics and fluid mechanics associated with combustion processes. He has specialized expertise in the design and performance evaluation of combustion devices including pressure vessels boilers heating systems and home appliances. Mr. Reza has investigated several hundred fire or explosion incidents including chemical plant incidents dust explosions munitions disposal/ accidental ignition and residential or commercial fires. He is a registered Professional Engineer in several states including California Arizona New York and in Manitoba Province Canada and has testified as an expert witness in various State and Federal courts. |
