Alfonso Escudero joined Dow Iberica in 1984 as Regional Cash Manager. In 1986, he was transferred to Horgen as European Area Cash Manager and in 1987 he became Financial Planning Manager for Dow Europe. In 1989, he moved to Midland as Financial Manager for Dow U.S.A. The following year he became Financial Manager in the Corporate Treasury Department.
Alfonso returned to Madrid, Spain in 1991 as Regional Treasurer of Dow Iberica and in 1993, he became Treasurer of Dow Benelux/Nordic. In 1996, he was named Corporate Finance Director in Midland. He became Corporate Director of Mergers and Acquisitions in 2000 and Global Business Finance Director for PO&E in 2002. In 2004, he was named Global Business Finance Vice President for Plastics. When the Performance Plastics and Chemicals portfolio was created in 2006, Alfonso was appointed the Business Finance Vice President. He is also a member of the Market-Facing Steering team for the Company.
Alfonso holds master degrees in Physics and Business Administration from the University of Madrid. |
