Alexis M. Sáinz is an Associate in the Washington, DC office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and a member of the Global Project Finance Department.
Ms. Sáinz represents domestic and international clients in the aerospace, communications and banking industries involved in commercial space and communications ventures. Her work includes representing satellite operators and institutional investors in acquisitions and acquisition financing, negotiating procurement contracts and advising on domestic and international regulatory compliance. She previously served as a consultant for the World Bank, National Geographic, and domestic non-profit organizations regarding internet-based technologies, and she was an early member of KPMG's financial service's e-commerce practice.
Ms. Sáinz earned her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School where she was the President of the Student Communications and Information Law Association. She received her Masters Degree in Computer Science from American University where she was a graduate fellow and a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the National Computer Science Honor Society. She graduated from Dartmouth College and currently serves as the Vice President of the Dartmouth Latino Alumni Association.
Ms. Sáinz will be admitted to practice in New York, is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Communications Bar Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association. |
