Ali Bernardi joined CulinArt's new business development team in 1999 where she initially served as both technical proposal writer and sales director. CulinArt’s aggressive growth in both the recreation & leisure market and within the sector of fine-catering venues, which began to accelerate in 2000, called for a focused approach to marketing, branding and communications within these arenas. Bernardi spearheaded the company's venue marketing department in late 2001. Today, she directs CulinArt’s venue and account-level marketing programs as well as the company’s overall branding and communications programs. She manages marketing campaigns for over twelve individual venue-clients as well as CulinArt's collection of catering companies: Philip Stone Caterers, Regal Caterers and Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs. Bernardi's background in public relations/communications and her experience in catering and event planning for institutions such as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, the New York Botanical Garden, and City Meals-on-Wheels more than position her to achieve her aggressive goals for increasing top-of-mind awareness of CulinArt's fine-catering brands and leisure venues. Bernardi is a graduate of Hunter College with a degree in political science. She is an active member of the Society for Foodservice Management, Women in Foodservice and the National Association of Female Executives. |
