Mr. Lemond has served as a director of Encore since October 2002. He is a managing member of Grove Capital LLC, an investment firm. Mr. Lemond also serves as a member of the board of directors of several private companies, including Friedman’s Inc., a jewelry retail business, where he is chairman of the board of directors, chairman of the nominating committee, and a member of the audit and compensation committees; PetroEdge Resources, LLC, an oil and gas exploration and production company; and R.A.B. Holdings, Inc., a holding company for consumer products and distribution businesses. From December 1997 to December 2004, Mr. Lemond was employed by Triarc, most recently serving as Vice President, Corporate Development from November 2000 to December 2004. Prior to that, he was an analyst in the mergers and acquisitions group at Salomon Smith Barney from July 1996 to December 1997. He also serves as a director of the New York Centurion Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting the law enforcement community, with special emphasis on the New York Police Department. Mr. Lemond holds a BSE degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. |
