Alexander Balva joined Everdream as Vice President of Engineering in October 2005 and brings over fifteen years of software design, development, and management experience along with twelve years of experience in business automation for the enterprise and mid-size markets. Balva is responsible for leading the engineering organization to successfully develop and design high quality products through the development and integration of innovative technologies, enabling Everdream to provide unprecedented service to its customers.Prior to joining Everdream, Balva served as Vice President of Product Development for Airframe Business Software, a provider of hosted, software-as-a-service applications for the SMB and enterprise markets. Before Airframe, he served as Chief Software Architect for the Exigen Group, where he led the delivery of an automation and cost reduction solution for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Prior to that, Balva was in charge of business applications for Genesys Telecommunication Laboratories, where he built and deployed over fifteen applications - the entire automation suite for the company, partners, and customers. Early in his career, Balva was instrumental in the design and implementation of supply chain management and production planning solutions for Tetra Pak, one of the largest privately held European companies with revenue of over $8 billion. Balva holds an M.S. of Computer Science from Kiev Technical University and was a Ph.D. student for 2 years prior to relocating to the U.S. |
