Mr. Arkin is a Vice President of Riverstone. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining Riverstone, Mr. Arkin was an Engagement Manager in McKinsey & Company’s Electric Power and Natural Gas Practice and Corporate Finance Practice in San Francisco. Before that, Mr. Arkin worked as an Energy Economist and Policy Analyst at Putnam Hayes & Bartlett in Washington, DC. Mr. Arkin began his career in the energy sector focusing on environmental issues at the Public Interest Research Group and then for U.S. member of Congress Elliot C. Eagel.
Mr. Arkin serves on the Boards of Directors of Topaz and InTank. He received a B.A. from Pomona College in Claremont, California, and a master’s in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he worked for the Harvard Electricity Policy Group on economic and environmental regulation of the industry and completed his master’s thesis on renewable energy technology development. |
