Mr. von Behr joined the Coca-Cola system in Singapore as senior vice president and director of operations for Southeast and West Asia with the corporate office of F&N Coca-Cola in Singapore, covering Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal markets. In 2000, he was named president of Coca-Cola India, responsible for the Company's concentrate business and its company-owned bottler. He became president of the Philippines Division in 2003.
For ten years prior to his Singapore posting, Mr. von Behr assumed a number of management positions in the U.K. and Switzerland, including general manager for Terry's Suchard Ltd. (Kraft General Foods) in the U.K., and European marketing director for Jacobs Suchard, based in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to these positions, he spent two years with McKinsey Management Consultants.
