Alex Calderone specializes in providing turnaround and crisis management services to distressed businesses in a wide variety of industries. He supports turnaround engagements by assisting with daily cash and vendor management, preparing financial projection models, and performing other finance and accounting related tasks necessary in crisis situations. Mr. Calderone also provides litigation support services including economic damage claim quantification, fraud investigation, and business valuation services to both performing and under-performing companies. Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie & Dunleavy, Mr. Calderone was an auditor with the Detroit Assurance and Advisory Services practice of KPMG LLP, where he performed financial statement and Sarbanes Oxley internal control audits for both public and private companies within the financial services, real estate, casino and manufacturing industries. Mr. Calderone is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Visiting Professor of Accounting at Michigan State University. He has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University. Mr. Calderone is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Business Valuation/Forensic and Litigation Services group. |
