Alexa Boer Kimball, M.D., M.P.H., served as the Director of Clinical Trials in Dermatology, Stanford University, She is now serving as the chair of the Workforce Taskforce for the American Academy of Dermatology, member of the Society for Woman's Health Research Medical Health Advisory Board and the Advisory Panel of the American Association of Medical Colleges.
Dr. Kimball graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University and received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. Her postgraduate training includes Chief Resident in Dermatology at Stanford University Medical Center and Clinical Fellow in Dermatology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She received her masters of public health degree from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, where she was inducted into Delta Omega Alpha.
Dr. Kimball has presented her work at national and international medical and scientific symposia and has contributed significantly to the medical literature with articles and abstracts published in journals such as "Archives of Dermatology" and "Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology". |
