Alex Pepe is senior vice president of manufacturing for Freescale Semiconductor the global leader in embedded processing solutions.
With more than twenty years in the semiconductor industry Alex's experience includes a variety of engineering and management roles including process and device engineering management positions and four years as director of the company's MOS-11 8-inch wafer fab.
Beginning in 1999 Alex directed manufacturing operations for the Networking and Wireless business groups. In 2001 he was appointed director of the Technology & Manufacturing strategy organization.
Alex was promoted to the position of vice president and assistant general manager of the Wireless & Mobile Systems Group in 2003 where he was responsible for driving operational excellence including margins yields and new-product introductions.
Prior to his current position Alex led the 32-bit Embedded Controller Division.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Colorado State University.
